Hari Aum!
Humble Pranaam to H H Maa Purnananda ji.
In September, I received message from SISS that Maa ji was planning to visit South in October just after Shardeeya Navraatri. It was like Divine grace of Tridevi-s in the form of Maaji, showering blessings upon us. I felt deeply fortunate, happy, grateful, emotional and extremely thankful to Maa ji and Manish ji.
This time, Maa ji would visit Coimbatore and Chennai. Since Maa ji’s visit was right after Navraatri, the satsang topics chosen, were to celebrate the importance of Supreme Goddesses of Sanaatan Dharm, namely Mata Sree Durga, Mata Sree Lakshmi and Mata Sree Saraswati. On Thursday, October 22nd, Maa ji arrived at Coimbatore. Smt. Usha ji and Sri. Ramachandran ji received Maa ji with Purna Kumbh at their residence.
On Friday 23rd evening, at Sri Ramachandran ji’s residence, we had satsang with Maa ji, “Invoking Maha Lakshmi Mata”. Maa ji explained that, the next 3 days of Navaratri were dedicated to worship of Sree Maha Lakshmi ji, having annihilated our animalistic nature - that is killing of Mahishasur in us, to acquire 8 kind of Virtues in our life. For that, we have to pray to Ashtalakshmi Devi-s. Sree Adi Lakshmi - Good mind, Sree Dhaanya Lakshmi- Agriculture, Sree Dhairya Lakshmi - Courage, Sree Gaja Lakshmi - Remembrance, Sree Santaan Lakshmi- Motherhood, Sree Vijaya Lakshmi - Victory, Sree Vidya Lakshmi- Wisdom, Sree Dhan Lakshmi - Spiritual wealth.
We chanted Sree Ashtalakshmi Stotram, composed by Sree Ved Vyas ji to acquire these 8 kinds of Virtues. With singing of bhajans, the Satsang ended peacefully.

On Saturday 24th morning, Maa ji concluded the fourth chapter of Sreemad Bhagawad Geeta of the on-going online sessions on “Sreemad Bhagawad Geeta – Insights into Daily Life” from Sri. Ramachandran ji’s residence. Evening, we had satsang with Maa ji on “Significance of Mata Saraswati Devi” at Sri. Ramesh ji’s residence. Sri Ramesh ji and Kamakshi ji received Maa ji with Purna Kumbh. Maa ji elaborated that, in last 3 days of Navaratri, we have to worship Mata Saraswati ji to acquire the supreme knowledge about ‘Self’ from the scriptures, to squash the “i”ness and “my”ness, that is to kill Shumbh and Nishumbh in us. Maa ji continued to explain about the various symbolic representations of Mata Saraswati ji Who represents Self. The white Lotus represents purity, Veena represents the importance to acquire desirable knowledge in life, Book represents the Scriptures and Japa mala indicates that one should go introvert. Hansa denotes “Sa-Aham”-“That I am”.
Smt. Usha ji chanted Sree Saraswati Stotra from Padma Puran and I offered bhajan at Mata Saraswati ji’s Holy Feet. After the distribution of prasad the satsang session ended beautifully with lingering thoughts of Mata Saraswati.
It was an emotional moment for my 95 old year mother, who was waiting to see Maa ji for nearly two years. Smt. Kamakshi was overwhelmed by Maa ji’s presence as it was her birthday on that day. Sri Vijay ji and Smt. Lakshmi ji came from Trissur to seek blessings of Maa ji. All the family members and others cherished special moments with Maa ji on that day.

On Sunday 25th afternoon we arrived at Chennai. Sri Vineet ji and Smt. Vijaylakshmi ji received Maa ji with Purna Kumbh. In the evening we had satsang with Maa ji at the residence of Sri. Vineet ji as “Mata Durga Devi Namostute”. Maa ji explained the importance of worshipping Mata Durga ji in first 3 days of Navaratri to withdraw from worldliness, that is to kill Madhu and Kaithabh. Maa ji, further explained the essence of Sree Devi Mahatmyam and worshipping of Tridevi-s, keeping Akhand Jyot and chanting the Mantra “Rupam dehi; Jayam dehi; Yasho dehi; Dvisho jahi” throughout Navaratri, so that on Dusshehra we get the blessings of Lord Sree Ram.

Since on that day, it happened to be Sharad Purnima day, Maa ji explained about 16 Kalas of Lord Chandra and mentioned that Sree Krishna was the Purna Avtar, Who had all the 16 Kalas.
Since Maha Rasleela happened on this Sharad Purnima day, we chanted Sree Vishnu Sahastranamam.
The session ended pleasantly with offering of Devi Stuti and distribution of Prasad.
Once again I profusely thank Manish ji for giving the wonderful opportunity to serve Maa ji during these festivities.
I must thank Usha ji, Ramachandran ji, Ramesh ji, Kamakshi ji and Vineet ji, Vijaylakshmi ji for their kind support and taking the best efforts for a comfortable stay at their homes.
Shubh Navaratri,
Jai Sree Ram,
Hari Aum.
