Holy Prostrations at the Sacred Feet of our Pujya Guru Maa and the revered Sree Guru Parampara.
We were deeply blessed to perform Mata Saraswati Devi Puja at SISS on 23 January 2026; an occasion filled with devotion, serenity, and Spiritual joy.
The auspicious celebration commenced with Purna Kumbh - welcome offered to Pujya Guru Maa by the devotees. This was followed by a deeply devotional Aarti at the sacred Sree Ishwar Darshan Temple. A gentle winter rain accompanied the chanting, creating an atmosphere that felt rare and sacred. The sound of prayers - mingled with the soft rainfall, filled the space with purity and brought a deep sense of inward stillness to all present.
Thereafter, at Sadguru Sharanam, Pujya Guru Maa spoke on the significance of Vasant Panchami, the sacred day dedicated to Maa Saraswati Devi. Guru Maa explained that Vasant Panchami is considered supremely auspicious for initiating any activity, whether related to worldly pursuits or Spiritual endeavours. It signifies not merely the arrival of spring in nature, but also the awakening of Medha Shakti which is clarity, discernment and wisdom within the intellect. She beautifully described Medha Shakti as the refined power of understanding blessed by Mata Saraswati Devi, enabling one to penetrate deeper into the intellect and proceed steadily in the chosen direction of life with clarity and purpose.
Following this discourse, the Shodashaupachara Puja was performed with great reverence under the direct guidance of Pujya Guru Maa.
On this auspicious occasion, Kalash Avarohan (कलश अवरोहण) at Sree Ishwar Darshan Temple was also carried out by the Sthapati and the assembled devotees, accompanied by the chanting of Sree Narayana Sooktam. The sacred Vedic vibrations further sanctified the atmosphere, making the moment deeply absorbing and Spiritually elevating.
The celebration concluded with a delicious lunch, lovingly served to all, fostering a spirit of togetherness and shared joy among the devotees.
The entire day unfolded in an atmosphere charged with devotion, harmony, and happiness. Every devotee felt inwardly enriched, touched by the grace of Maa ji and the blessings of Maa Saraswati Devi.
