The Divine Glimpse of Sree Ishwar

Sree Katik Purnima – the one day of the year when each devotee receives the
blessed opportunity of offering abhishekam to Sree Ishwar, the Divinity of which is
indescribable in words, and can only be experienced by the devotee entering the
garbh griha of Sree Ishwar Darshan Temple.
With the grace of Sree Guru Parampara, and Their kind blessed hand upon us and
our families, I had this humbling experience once again this year, on 5 th November.
The early morning hours in SISS reverberated with the thousand names of Lord Sree
Vishnu, tuning our minds to complete auspiciousness with Sree Vishnu
Sahastranaam, taking away the distractions of our mundane lives, making us focus
on the homam and puja offering that lay ahead. Under Maa ji’s benign presence,
and auspices of Manish ji, the sacred fire of the yagnya offering with continuous
chants by pandit jis, reminded each of our senses the teachings that we have
received under the holy shelter of SISS year after year. It has been a process of
purification, like Sree Ganga snanam. After the yagnya, each of us, with hearts full
of devotion, and nothing in sight but Sree Ishwar, stepped inside the garbh griha,
seeking forgiveness for our impurities, and offering abhishekam as an act for our
inner purification.
Sree Ishwar was adorned with new holy clothes and ornaments, and our eyes lay
buried at the Divine sight and Glory of the Lord during the Sree Alankar Aarti.
Sree Ishwar Mahaabhishekam prasad at Sree Annapurna kshetra was the nectar that
fed us and gave the right nourishment and contentment.
Each devotee was blessed with a very special precious gift from Maa ji – a beautiful
pouch with Her wisdomful words impressed upon it. Each piece had a different
message from Maa. The ways of the Gurus are always a bewilderment – it was as
though each of us received what we deserved, what seemed relevant to each.
My humble sincere heartfelt gratitude and pranaam to Maa ji, for taking me
through this journey under Her revered guidance.
Humble pranaam and dhanyawaad, Manish ji. You are always a source of
inspiration and motivation.

I went to the ashram for Sree Kartik Purnima after many years, and it turned out
to be a really divine experience for me. There was Puja, prasad, and a lot of
people around, so the whole place felt lively. Even though it was a religious day,
the atmosphere was warmer and more exciting than serious, and I actually
enjoyed being a part of it.
I even stayed the night at the ashram, which felt very different from being at
home. It was quieter, calmer, and in a way, refreshing. I got to see how things
work there, meet people, and just be in a different space for a while. Overall, it
was a nice break from my usual routine and made the day feel special without
being too intense or formal.
