Reminiscing & Revering

Pranaam at the Holy Feet.
Those three days of September were so blessed for us, nah! Not just those three, but much before that when our enthusiasm was finding its base at every preparation to welcome Maa to stay with us in Aurangabad (CSN). When at SISS, everything around seems Divine, right from the tiniest blade of grass to whatever we see around, it was a similar feeling when Maa was here. The whole aura was vibrant with peace and joy.
The Vedic lectures in the morning on ‘Chatushloki Bhaagwatam’ from the Maha Puran Sreemad Bhaagwatam were very deep and thought provoking, emphasizing on the significance of 'Creation' at the cosmic level and at the individual level. Hence these were important learnings as we are creating every moment either through thought, word or deed.
The mundane is so conditioned, a routine, habitual living, with hardly any thought process to the right way of living. This was guided by Maa to the interested participants through 30 verses of Bhaj Govindam (composed by Sree Adi Shankaracharya ji) sessions that were held in the evening hours.
We got a chance to welcome Maa by offering Sree Guru Paad Puja at Her Holy Feet. There was no better satisfaction in our hearts than this blessed opportunity, in the presence of other study circle members; all tuned together to the single Divine thought process. This was followed by Samashti Bhiksha.
The Bhiksha offerings prepared so lovingly all 3 days by devoted members were enjoyed by all of us as Prasad, nourishing not only the body but also the mind-intellect equipment.
Many of us must have got a chance to listen to or invoke Sreemad Bhaagwat Mahapuran some time or the other in our lives. This time Aurangabad Study Circle will be getting this blessed opportunity to invoke the Maha Yagnya under the sacred banner of SISS, in the month of Feb'2025, in the auspices of Her Holiness. Maa, in this visit tuned up our inner equipment giving us the direction from chapter 17 of Sreemad Bhagawad Geeta on Saatvik, Rajasik and Tamasik Aahaar, Yagnya, Daan, Tapa to prepare our minds before we listen to the Holy Puran. Eliminating the Rajasik and Tamasik tendencies, as our swadhyay we must practice inculcating Saatvik tendencies.
For us every moment spent with Maa was very precious. Right from receiving guidance on making the right choice, living the righteous way, performing our duties diligently and not deviating from the sacred path are the important instructions for us to cherish.
Our pranaam at the Holy Feet and gratitude to Maa ji and Chaitanya ji for giving us this opportunity.
Hari Aum!
