Hari Aum,
On the occassion of Shardeeya Navratri, we were blessed to hear Mataji explain the Spiritual side of ‘Earn, Yearn & Learn.’ Explaining the meaning of 'Argala', the stopper, Maa explained the meaning of the famous couplet-
Aum Namah-Chandikaayai
'Aum Jayanti Mangala Kali Bhadrakali Kapalini.
Durga Kshama Shiva Dhatri Swaha Swadha Namo-stute.
We have to earn the strength of devotion with the blessings of Maa Durga. When we interact with the world at physical level, we usually lose the track of our Divinity. We have to understand the purpose of life. We are not here to only earn our livelihood. Our faith in the Supreme should be unswerving.
Devi Durga is the manifestation of Vishnumaya, the Sustainer. That is why, She has the ability to bless us to come out of the vagaries of the world. Our oblations to Devi Durga, Who is the Bestower of Shakti, Chhaya, and right Trishna.

With the blessings of Maa Lakshmi, we should yearn for purity of intention. There should be harmony in our intention, expression and action. Hence we pray to Maa Lakshmi as -

Namastasyai Namastasyai Namastasyai Namo Namah
Ya Devi Sarva Bhuteshu Vritti Rupen Sansthita

We need the blessings of Maa Saraswati to learn the Scriptural secrets. The implied meaning can be understood with Her blessings only. Without correct learning, our earning for devotion and yearning for purity of intention goes waste. We seek blessings of Maa Saraswati by chanting –
Ya Devi Sarva Bhuteshu Vidya Rupen Sansthita
Namastasyai Namastasyai Namastasyai Namo Namah
Ya Devi Sarva Bhuteshu Nidra Rupen Sansthita
Namastasyai Namastasyai Namastasyai Namo Namah

Later Mataji explained the meaning of
‘Aum Aim Hrim Klim Chamundayai Vicche’ the Beej Mantra from which the whole Divine Knowledge sprouts. Aum (Universal sound) Aim (seed - Maha Saraswati) Hrim (Shakti - Maha Lakshmi) Klim (Maha Kali) thus representing all the three Feminine Forces of the universe. The word ‘Chamundayai’ sees the Divine Mother as the Destroyer of demons Chanda and Munda. The term ‘Vicche’ means shield.
Worshipping, reading and studying in the correct manner will surely help us to achieve our true Self.
