Hari Aum!
Prostrations at the lotus feet of Guru Maa.
Like every year, this year too, we the members of Delhi-NCR Study Circle had the opportunity to celebrate Sree Krishna Janmaashtami at SISS which we always look forward to!
The day started with welcoming Maa Ji with Purna Kumbha
It was followed by a visit to Sree Ishwara Darshan Temple. On this occasion, Sadguru Sharanam was decorated beautifully.
The Idol of Balgopal swinging on jhula, surrounded by Gopis was mesmerizing.
With Maa Ji's guidance, we performed 'Manas Puja' of Sree Krishna. We were blessed with the Audio release of USB on ‘Dhyan Saadhna‘(basic practices) as a part of Rajopachaar.
Maa’s blessings: Release of the audio USB, “Dhyan Saadhna”
The chanting of 108 names of Lord Krishna, and the soulful Krishna Bhajans by Maa filled the air with divine joy. We danced to the glory of Lord Krishna.
As a part of Naivedyam, Maakhan was offered. Maa said that offering Maakhan to the Lord symbolizes detachment from the pleasures of the sensory world. In the end, we all had the sumptuous lunch prasad.
We are truly blessed to be a part of all celebrations at SISS throughout the year. The teachings of GuruMaa, and the able guidance of Manish Ji, combined with the serene atmosphere of SISS, help us in paving our way into the realm of 'Enlightenment' from our worldly existence. We are ever grateful to the Guru Parampara, and I offer my humble pranaam to Maa ji.
