Hari Aum!

Humble Prostrations at the Holy Feet of Sree Guru Parampara.

Humble Prostrations at the Holy Feet of Pujya Maa ji.

We, under the shelter of SISS, are blessed to begin the New Year, every year with Sree Vishnu Sahastranaam Homam.

This year too, Homam was performed at Sadguru Sharnam with Manish ji taking the lead in offering the oblations along with Delhi-NCR Study Circle members.

Sahastranaam, or the thousand names of Sree Maha Vishnu were initially taken by Sree Bhishma Pitamah ji on his bed of arrows on the battlefield of Kurukshetra. The very character of Bhishma Pitamah ji reminds us to live a life of high morals and ethics and work hard to live up to the resolve that we make on the 1st of January each year. For anyone to live such a pious and meaningful life, one would need to minimize the ego by sacrificing it in the holy fire of the Homam.

Pujya Maa Ji's New Year blessings for us is:

"May the dawn of the new year bring enthusiasm to work for worthy causes, inner peace for purposeful progress and satisfaction of whatever is attained by God's grace."

We must work with full enthusiasm & inner peace to strive towards the worthy causes of our spiritual progress. Then only we can experience His Grace. The Grace here is 'the result accrued in our mind when it is properly tuned up to and peacefully settled in contemplation upon the Infinite'.

The concluding Call Talk of December 2024 (Commitment, Conviction & Continuity) guides me in 2025 to stay Committed to my essential Dharm, have Conviction to pursue the path fearlessly and maintain Continuity in implementing the Spiritual learnings in my day-to-day life.

My gratitude to Manish ji for all the interactive QA sessions, Call Talks and Study questions, throughout the year, which help me study, practice and reflect under the fold of Pujya Maa ji.

Happy New Year to all my fellow seekers.
