My Pranaam at the Holy Altar of Sree Guru Parampara.
In a world where the common mind-set often equates busy-ness and stress with productivity, we often find ourselves starting from a state of panic, feeling lost and unsure of how to achieve perfection in our lives. Panic often triggers a fight-or-flight response, where our bodies react to stress with fear and confusion. In this state, it becomes challenging for us to think clearly or make wise decisions.
However, the teachings from Guru Maa ji (in the online Call-Talk) giving specific references from Sreemad Bhagawad Geeta, introduce game-changing perspective: the importance of cultivating a peaceful state of mind as a foundation for achieving perfection.
Following are some of the points that are my learnings from the Call Talk:
1. Transition from Panic to Peacefulness
Panic arises from feelings of insecurity and fear, disrupting our mental clarity. Guru Maa advises to learn from Sreemad Bhagawad Geeta that by fostering peacefulness, we can overcome panic and create a solid foundation for personal excellence.
2. Arjuna’s Dilemma
In Chapter 1 – Sreemad Bhagawad Geeta, Arjun ji experiences intense panic on the battlefield, feeling overwhelmed by his responsibilities. This moment reflects his internal chaos as he grapples with moral dilemmas. Lord Krishna patiently guides him toward understanding his true Self and duties, illustrating that finding peace is crucial for regaining composure and acting skilfully -embodying the essence of "Yogah Karmasu Kaushalam."
3. Achieving Perfection
Guru Maa impressed, that perfection is epitomised as unity with Divinity, achieved through constant remembrance of our Divine nature in every action. Sreemad Bhagawad Geeta teaches us that visualizing Divinity at the centre of our actions helps maintain focus and purpose, guiding us toward perfection.
4. Steadiness of Mind: The sixth chapter of Sreemad Bhagawad Geeta emphasizes maintaining a steady mind like a lamp that does not flicker amidst disturbances. This steadiness is vital for achieving inner peace.
5. Overcoming Panic: The sacred Geeta encourages us to recognize the transient nature of fear and anxiety. By shifting our focus from fleeting emotions to stable Consciousness, we can overcome panic.
Key Takeaways on overcoming anxieties and achieving excellence from the Online Call Talk: -
Karm (Action): Acknowledge and accept inner anxieties as part of our human experience and strive to work in the right direction.
Abhyaas (Contemplation): Focus on unity with the Divine to achieve perfection in action.
Vairagya (Detachment): Detach from the false, and,
Dhyaan (Meditation): Cultivate peacefulness through the practice of detachment and letting go.
To achieve these, we have to establish unity with the higher Self in us.
Conclusion:
By integrating these advice of Guru Maa into our daily lives, we can navigate from panic to peace, ultimately achieving perfection through action aligned with Divine principles. The Call Talk is not just spiritual wisdom alone, but also a practical guidance for overcoming emotional turmoil, emphasizing that true strength lies in understanding our higher purpose and maintaining composure amidst chaos. Cultivating a peaceful state of mind is indeed the game changer on our journey from panic to perfection.
