Hari Aum!

Humble Prostrations at the Holy Feet of Revered Sree Guru Parampara.

Before I left Dubai, I received a travel handbook for the Holy Pilgrimage created by Chaitanya ji (Manish ji); getting a comprehensive idea of what was coming ahead - I was totally looking forward to it! I started my Holy Pilgrimage on 4th November from Dubai.

After a wonderful Retreat on one of the great works of Sree Adi Shankaracharya ji - “Maneesha Panchakam”, followed by Sree Ishwar Maha Abhishekam on the 8th of November, I was completely set for my onward journey.

We started from SISS on 9th November with the car matrix, luggage, and all of us in place!

I was blessed to be in the same car with Maaji and Chaitanya ji. We started our journey by chanting Sree Hanuman Chalisa and all throughout kept listening to different Stotras, Stutis etc. This made the whole travel so peaceful and divine. I felt so connected all throughout.

We stopped for breakfast in perfect time and all cars in alignment with Chaitanya ji’s car. At every stop Chaitanya ji informed about the next stop and everyone was so much in sync. All teams worked so well together, that the whole travel seemed effortless and conducive to focus on the purpose. This was maintained all throughout till we reached SISS. All thanks to Chaitanya ji’s immaculate planning to the “T”.

We continued our journey to Uttar Kashi listening to Sree Ganga Avtaran Katha; though I had heard it before, it had a whole new meaning for me this time; I was already at Maa Ganga’s Holy Feet. After a 12-hour travel, we reached Uttar Kashi. I was still fresh and all energetic probably because my energy was saved by not talking and no mental distractions.

We visited Sree Kashi Vishwanath Temple in the evening, the cool air and short walk cleared the body stiffness.

Next morning, we travelled to Sree Gangotri Dham. I was mesmerized by the scenic beauty and couldn’t keep eyes off the window and revere the Divine Mother for Her Glory.

At Sree Gangotri, Maa ji guided us to pray and then enter the Holy waters to take The Holy Bath. We spent some time on Mother Ganga’s lap chanting Sree Ganga Stotram with Maa ji. Though we were freezing in the beginning, by Pujya Maaji’s Grace, there came a moment when everything went still; no disturbance at all; a moment of Bliss where nothing else mattered, it was something I had never experienced.

After that we went to Tapovan ji Maharaj’s Kutir and felt His Divine presence everywhere. Then we went to Sree Parashar Muni’s hot water spring where we soaked ourselves to rejuvenation.

Next morning, we visited Tapovan Ji Maharaj’s Kutir in Uttar Kashi and again Sree Vishwanath Temple, where pandit ji narrated his wonderful experiences with Tapovan Ji Maharaj.

We all wished for a satsang session with Maaji at the banks of Mother Ganga and Maaji blessed us. We chanted, sang bhajans, played games.

Next morning, we went for a walk and near a small stream of Mother Ganga, we chanted Sree Kasi Vishwanath Stotra with Maaji, it was so Divine!

Later the gentlemen decided to go for another round of Hot Spring bath while ladies stayed back with Maa ji to have Q&A. We spent the day in bliss. Maaji explained difficult concepts in such an easy way that they will remain with me always. Local shopping experience was fun too. Journey homeward was in silence, peaceful with different chants, assimilating all learnings.

I feel so Blessed to get the opportunity to go on a Teerth Yatra to Uttar Kashi and Sree Gangotri Dham with Pujya Maaji and Chaitanya ji.

My heartfelt gratitude to Chaitanya ji and Dhanyavaad to all members of the Teerth Yatra to have made it a wholesome experience.
