Steps to Purification

Hari Aum!
Pranaams to Maaji,
The cool breeze greeted me, bringing peace to my Spiritual journey in Delhi on 14th Feb'26. The morning started with a homam in preparation for the Kumbhaabhishekam; the Ved-Mantras reverberated throughout Sree Ishwar Darshan Temple. The Abhishekam to Sree Ishwar followed by the devotees, highlighting the need for His grace, for humility and the acceptance of love without any prejudice.
We prepared ourselves for the Kumbhaabhishekam. With Maaji’s grace, we had Her blessings to go up onto the Gopuram and perform the ceremony. I experienced a serene mind at the top—with nothing other than Sree Ishwar in my thoughts—and was able to perform the Abhishekam peacefully.

The Sooktam reverberated through the environment. The thought of Sree Ishwar, the blessings of Maa ji and the presence of Chaitanya ji gave us the confidence to stand on top without any fear or anxiety.
In the evening, we had Arati at the temple followed by Paad Puja to our Guru. She explained the purpose of each step. The Paad Puja taught us how humble we need to be in our offerings to Guru and God. We realize that nothing is greater than Guru and God; They expect nothing from us; if we practice puja with sincerity and devotion, the mind will fall into place without ego.
The next day, we were guided in meditation by Maaji. We learned why and how to practice meditation. This was timed well on the auspicious day of Maha Shivaratri.

Maaji helped us understand that meditation helps us achieve Aatm Shuddhi. Our Antah Karan, which is Sattvik in nature, is often polluted with Rajasic and Tamasic tendencies. There is a need to purify the mind; Shraddha, Bhakti, and Dhyanam help in this purification.
We need to understand that simply imagining peace will not bring peace unless the mind stops wandering towards worldly things. We must understand that the strength of anything is knowledge. We often hold the false knowledge that acquiring worldly pleasure gives peace; in reality, it provides only sorrow. Therefore, there is a necessity to purify the mind. The steps are to ensure we think before we speak so that we are never harsh to others and we speak diligently. We need to introspect every day regarding our responses to various situations. The introspection provides clarity to the mind on where we go wrong and how to course-correct, which will then be reflected in our meditation the next day.
The Lord is full of grace and is with us forever, but our anxiety and fear act as a veil, preventing us from realizing the grace of God. We need to start the practice of sadhana with devotion. Contemplating upon our actions and reflecting upon them in meditation will help us purify the mind and allow us to think about the unthinkable Brahman.

Pranams to Maaji & gratitude to Chaitanya ji.
Hari Aum.
