SREE GURU PAAD PUJA & NAAM DEEKSHA

Hari Aum!

My pranaam at Guru Maa’s Feet and pranaam to Manish ji.

I was looking forward to the Teerth yatra, which we took in April’26, because it was going to be the way a Teerth should be. I did not know the importance of Naimishaaranya until Maa explained about it, and hence my eagerness went up even more. Truly, had we gone otherwise, it would never have been the way it was with Maa, Manishji and so many other satsangis. I got an opportunity to stay in close association with Maa and Manishji after a long time and it felt at home. Every moment had a unique calmness.

I got an opportunity to perform Sree Guru Paad Puja, which marked the true beginning of an important Teerth.

More overwhelming for me was what followed after that. A turning point for me when I was given Naam Deeksha – ‘Ashish’ (previously Praveen) along with a Japa Mantra by Guru Maa towards my Isht Devta. Not only me, but my wife and daughter too got the opportunity to enhance their Spiritual journeys at the Holy Feet of Guru in this life time. I pray we all be on the Righteous path as guided by Guru Maa.

This one Teerth yatra will always be very special for me!

Gratitude and Pranaam.

It is believed that the question of “How can one live life to the fullest?” is extremely complex and often a riddle to many people. But at the tender age of 16 my little heart likes to believe that I’ve found somewhat of an answer to this question on this holy Teerth. “I want to lead a life under the guidance of and with the blessings of my Guru, with intention, purpose, service and full of love. That’s when I’ll know I am living my life to the fullest.”, is what it echoed. This answer will continue to evolve with every new teaching I get from Pujya Guru Maa and Manish mama and the connect I experience with every second Japa on the Rudraksh Mala. The new name bestowed upon me was ‘Ananya’ from previously - Riddhima. I was blessed with the name Riddhima by Guru Maa, when I was born, and now blessed with Naam Deeksha by Guru Maa Herself!

How immensely grateful i am, and pray to live true to my name – Ananya – One without a second. I humbly bow down to the compassion showered by Sree Guru Parampara for bringing me under Their warm embrace. What can be more auspicious than getting Deeksha in a place as ancient & holy as Naimi Shaaranya!

When Mata ji was tying the mauli around my wrist, I couldn’t control my tears. I felt so overwhelmed at that moment, overwhelmed by the feeling of immense love and gratitude that were bubbling inside of me, it honestly felt like a tight hug from God. I don’t think I can explain in words what happened at that instant, but something inside me changed, and that change happening at Sree Guru’s Feet felt so light and liberating.

The surreal feeling of the breezy winds of Naimi Sharaanya carrying blessings from Sree Rishi Muni-s from the past, and the same blessings being manifested as Deeksha by Guru Maa, are something I hold closest to my heart, now and always!
