THE BEGINNING…
(Naimishaaranya Teerth Yatra)

Hari Aum!
The inner journey towards Naimishaaranya Dhaam had started long before the actual yatra. The seed of this sankalp which was sown right after the Bhaagwat Saptaah at Chh. Sambhajinagar, started bearing tender leaves after the Shuktaal Yatra with Sri Chaitanya ji and further during the discourse on Sree Satyanarayan ji Katha by Pujya Mataji at Sambhajinagar.
H H Maa Purnanandaji, our Mataji, our Sadguru is the adhar-stambh for all our Spiritual stability and growth. Sri Chaitanya ji, our revered torch-bearer is the pillar of unconditional support and the driving force behind each and every Spiritual undertaking at SISS. Without Him, every learning is incomplete!
We learnt from our revered Mata ji that nothing in this world is free. Sincere efforts in the right direction is required, to make oneself eligible to tread the Path consistently for best results.
Bharatvarsh is a country of Saints, Sages, Rishi-s and Muni-s. Our rich Spiritual heritage and legacy has been preserved, nurtured, nourished and kept untainted and alive through generations by unrelenting efforts, by selfless and dedicated Foot prints of these great Saints and Their valuable blessings on us from generations before! The various Teerth places all around, are reverberating with divine vibes from the true stories of amazing and exemplary lives of These great Souls. They not only lived, but also gave up Their lives without a second thought, for the benefit and wellbeing of their coming generations.
As understood, the literal meaning of this Sanskrit word तीर्थ means rising above and staying there. So, with every Teerth Yatra, the sadhak is expected to rise from his present status (internally). The enthusiasm gets doubled, when the sadhak gets this divine opportunity to follow the heels of his/her Guru. The whole experience and the after effects are totally different. Everything becomes full of essence and meaningful.
The blessings and grace of the entire Sree Guru Parampara guides and protects a sincere devotee.
Doing the Naimishaaranya Yatra with Mataji, has totally changed my idea of what and how a Teerth should be done. I understood, that clarity of purpose for doing a Teerth is very important. Integration of inner and outer personality, vigilance and alertness, selfless service beyond conditions, being in constant Yog, these are a few practices a sadhak needs to learn, and observe during the Yatra.
A day before the Yatra began, we offered our prayers, singing Sree Hanuman Ashtakam at the newly consecrated Sree Hanuman ji Idol in the beautiful Brahm-Udyaan at SISS.

Later in the evening, we all gathered together at Sadguru-Sharanam for the orientation session, redirecting our minds for the true purpose, blessed by Mata ji and Chaitanya ji, for the upcoming Teerth. All deekshit devotees were blessed by Maa with a yellow Anga-Vastra, to be worn only during chanting at each teerth sthal. We were divided into different vehicles and we were blessed with the Idols of divine Vaahans as Raksha kavach for the Spiritual journey. Each move was so detailed and meaningful.

The next morning, the Yatra began with Mangal Arati, with prayers, and with the peace invocation. With Purna-Kumbh, we offered our reverence towards Maa ji, seeking blessings before embarking on this great journey.
