SREE GAYATRI HOMAM

Hari Aum!
We would like to begin by expressing our gratitude to one of the close devotees of Guru Maa, Smt. Dalmia ji, who out of her loving sewa bhaav offered her warm guest house at Naimisharanya to Maa ji and Chaitanya ji, followed by SISS members to stay during the Teerth Yatra. As we followed, both of us too got the blessed chance to bring ourselves to serve Maa ji.
The sprawling beautiful gardens of the guest house dotted with beautiful trees reminded us of the 'Aranya' of the holy name 'Naimishaaranya'. Maa ji explained to us the significance of 'Vriksh' and how essential it is to let Nature be preserved in His world. It is with Nature's blessings that we are able to fulfil our purpose.
Right in the middle was a beautiful havan kund, which spelt aloud for us - 'Sree Gayatri Homam'!
Just the day before we were supposed to depart, after visiting all the holy places in Naimishaaranya, with services to Mata ji who represented Sree Guru Parampara in the land of Sree Guru's since time ancient, we got the blessed opportunity to perform Sree Gayatri Homam under Her auspices, led by Chaitanya ji. Sri. Prapannji and myself - Aadya followed Chaitanya ji in performing the Puja.
The evening sky heralding 'sandhya', a perfect time to offer Sree Gayatri Vandana, was enlivened with a soft dancing breeze. As Maa directed, Puja was offered and all members offered 'Ahuti' in the holy fire kindled in the havan kund, symbolising the sacrifice of ego in the fire of Knowledge.

Absorbed that we all were, Nature took us in Its fold by giving us a glimpse of its beautiful play and enticed us, as the winds went whistling in stupendous speed increasing its gush by every fraction of a second. Soon, with the last offering to the Devta-s, we came inside the calm guest house satisfied!
Beginning the Teerth Yatra with 'Sree Guru Paad Puja' by offering our prayers at the Holy Feet of Sree Guru-s, seeking Their blessings; we concluded with invoking Lord Savitur to take us towards Spiritual enlightenment.

Such was the blissful experience of a Teerth so powerful and vibrant, only if words can do some justice to the experience - inexplicable!
Our humble gratitude towards Sree Guru Parampara for taking us in Their fold and showing us the Golden Path.
With Their blessings, may we be worthy of treading the same.
In humble service,
With gratitude,
Pranaam
