Chandra Kala

Hari Aum!
Pranaam to Maa ji.

We were eagerly waiting for Maa ji’s Chennai visit on 25th October 2026. The Sunday was a cool day after Nature’s shower a few days back. There was a shower of blessings in Maa ji’s presence and soothing rainfall.
25th Oct was Sharad Purnima day; the moon on this day represents Sree Krishna, Who is the embodiment of sixteen Kalas:
Praan, Shraddha, Akash, Vayu, Agni, Jal, Prithvi, Indriya, Mann, Anna, Veerya (Shakti/Vigor), Tapa, Mantra, Karm, Lok, Naam.

Then Maa ji explained about Devi Durga ji. Sree Ram is the Enlivening Factor. Sree Ram will not be visible without Devi. Devi is the Manifesting form of Brahman (Yog Maya).
We pray to Devi as:
Mata Sree Durga – to overcome physical attachment,
Mata Sree Lakshmi – to purify the mind and cultivate virtues,
Mata Sree Saraswati – to develop the intellectual ability to understand the world as unreal.
Sree Durga Saptashati has three sections:
1)To develop purity in mental state,
2)Annihilate physical bondage and
3)Help overcome "I-ness and my-ness"

We learnt the importance of Japa from Guru Maa ji and the glory of Devi in purifying our thoughts. I always feel peace in the presence of Maa ji; the grace of the Guru Parampara reminds me to be good in thoughts always.

Reverence towards the Mother

Hari Aum!
Pranaam to Maa ji.

I was fortunate enough to meet Maa ji during Her recent visit to Chennai. This was my third interaction with Her. As always, it was a wonderful experience to spend some time interacting with Her, expressing my thoughts, and seeking answers from Her. As a seeker, one needs advice and guidance from a Guru, Who patiently listens to all our questions, doubts, and tantrums—just as a mother would, with her child—and guides us toward the right path.
I am deeply grateful for Maa ji’s grace.
I offer my sincere pranaam once again, and look forward to our next meeting.

Humble Pranaam!
