Pranaam at the Holy Feet of Sree Guru Parampara.
I had the wonderful opportunity of being at SISS during the auspicious days of Navratri last month with my mother.
Though any other day seems as auspicious, but this was more special in every way as we sought our blessings at the Holy altar, before embarking on my journey to pursue higher studies after 12th grade.
The very embrace of SISS felt warm as soon as we reached and at the same time opened up a dimension within us of calm & quietude. With that serenity, the living Idol of Sree Ishwar appeared majestic and magnificent. The yearning to see Sree Param Gurudev and Sree Gurudev ji along with Maa Saraswati ji was satisfied as we bowed down at Their Feet. And then to see our beloved Gurumaa along with Manish mama; my happiness knew no bounds! Not moving our place from them, with loads of conversations, we dint realise when afternoon slipped into late evening!
The college that I aspire to go, happens to be close to SISS and to my surprise, very sweetly, Gurumaa & mama suggested that we go and visit the premises. What better opportunity that my visit to my aspiring future college was being blessed by Them!
After returning back we got ready for Sree Devi Puja commencing the same evening. With Ranjani aunty and Amaan uncle invoking Sree Durga Devi ji, Sree Mahalakshmi Mata ji and Sree Saraswati Mata ji, under the auspices of Guru maa, the entire Sadguru Sharanam became alive and vibrant with Their Divinity. Unto Their Holy Feet, Ananta and I got a chance to offer Bharatnatyam and Kathak dances respectively.
Gurumaa also released the USB on ‘Vivekchoodaamani’ Part 1 & 2 [Part 1 – ‘Commencement of Spiritual Journey’ & Part 2 – ‘Discrimination between Self & Not-self’] - meticulously converted into USB by Manish mama which makes it easier for all of us to watch and listen on our devices. This is a Text, as I understood, must be studied as it forms one of the foundational Texts for other Higher Texts.
Completely feeling enriched and energised, I felt motivated to study hard for all my entrance exams and upcoming board exams, so as to make it a fragrant offering unto Lord.
