Come First of January, we are fortunate to start the New Year with Sree Vishnu Sahastranaam Homam at SISS!
The New Year is never new. Time is a continuous flow. Yet, in time, each of us can renew ourselves. At the onset of New Year, we must reorient ourselves and take resolve to continue the practice of Self-evolution. Our resolve should be based on our determination, confidence and firmness, as explained by Pujya Maa ji in a recent Call Talk.
We felt blessed to welcome our Pujya Guru Maa ji with Purna Kumbh on the very first day of the new calendar year. Offering Aarti, the Sacred Vedic chants, at Sree Ishwara Darshan Temple, filled up the serene environment of the Holy Abode.
The Homam, was performed at Sadguru Sharnam with Manish ji taking the lead on offering oblations along with Delhi-NCR Study circle members. The potency with which the names of Sree Maha Vishnu were being chanted filled the air with Divinity. Though we chanted one Thousand names of Sree Maha Vishnu, remembrance of just one name with full devotion and reverence has the power to catalyse our Self-renewal.
The whole purpose of offering oblations is to minimize the ego by sacrificing it in the Holy fire of Homam. This year we were blessed with the appearance of Sacred symbol 'Aum' in the Holy Fire of Homam.
The Naivedyam offering was delicious "Karah Prasad" made by Manish ji himself. Dhanyawaad to Manish ji for all activities, interactive sessions and guidance throughout the year, which is the foundation of our Spiritual Quotient.
As we step into the New Year, may it be a renewaiNl of clarity, courage and commitment to the Higher purpose of life. True happiness lies in overcoming the ego and discovering the infinite strength & peace within.
