Hari Aum!

Pranaam to H H Maa Purnananda ji.

Every year, I dream about Maaji’s South visit; this year the dates got postponed 3 times and I really thought it would end as a dream only. But I became extremely happy and blessed, when Manish ji finally gave the dates for Maaji’s South visit with inspiring Talks in Chennai and Bengaluru.

On Sunday 12 October, Maa ji arrived at Sri Suresh ji’s residence in Kodambakkam at Chennai. That evening, on my request, Maa ji lovingly agreed to bless our new flat at Korattur. Even though we had done the Grihapravesham for the flat, I was waiting for Maa ji’s visit to initiate the Puja Altar. By lighting the lamp, Maa ji initiated the Puja Altar and blessed all of us. I had invited few of my friends for the occasion. All the people who gathered there were absolutely spell bound when Maa ji explained about “God, Guru and Grace”. Maa ji also answered few questions raised by us, that left us completely satisfied.

One curious question was - “When will Lord Sree Krishna come again?” Maaji explained “Only 5000 years have passed in Kaliyug, still four and half lakh years are left. There are 6 types in 10 Avatars of Lord Sree Vishnu. Of all the Avatars, Avesh Avatar is considered to be the best, as Lord appeared instantly. If necessary any time that kind of action will be taken by the Lord”. With so much love, Maaji accepted dinner bhiksha and blessed us all with prasad. Every one present there had the opportunity to have dinner prasad along with Maaji. It was an evening of experience of Grace of Guru and God.

On Monday 13th morning, breakfast bhiksha was offered by Suresh ji & family, and I had the opportunity to have the nourishing prasad once again! Smt. Vijaylakshmi ji and her mother made absolutely wonderful breakfast. After that, Maaji and myself left for Bengaluru by car. Since on Chennai-Bengaluru highway, major road works were going on, we came to Bengaluru via Gudiyatham - V Kota forest route, which finally connects to newly laid Expressway E7.

The weather was perfect. Maa ji thoroughly enjoyed the village sights as the car escalated through winding hills of Venkatagiri Kota. Interestingly, one half of the hill lies in Tamil Nadu and other half lies in Andhra Pradesh. Zooming into expressway, we finally entered Bengaluru, with blessings of Sree Varuna Bhagwaan. We reached home around 5.00 pm in the evening. My son Chaithanya, Lakshmi ji and Vijay ji were waiting to welcome Maaji.

On Tuesday 14th morning after breakfast at our home, Maaji lovingly accepted to have lunch bhiksha at Vijay ji’s home. Vijay ji came and picked us from our residence. After swimming through Bengaluru traffic, we reached Vijay ji’s home. A warm welcome was given by Vijay ji’s family and relatives. After listening to Maaji’s wealthy explanations on “Manifestation”, healthy, tasty lunch bhiksha was offered by Smt. Lakshmi ji, and every one partook prasadam.

That day evening, we had “Satsang” with Maaji at our residence, which was attended by few of my friends. One important question was raised by Maaji, “Why do we all have to go to the temple?”. Each one us came with different answers, but Maaji finally explained the importance. In temples “Pranapratishtha” is done for the Deity while doing the Kumbhabhishekam. At home it is not done. That’s why we have to go to temples whenever possible. Satsang concluded with offering bhajans to Lord.

This time during Maaji’s visit, younger generation - my nephew Arvind, my son Chaithanya and Suresh ji’s son Shreyas all had valuable time with Maaji. They discussed with Maaji about their interest - Maaji lovingly listened to each one separately, appreciated, gave clarifications and blessed them. Some of Maaji’s most senior devotees too, did not miss out to seek Maaji’s blessings.

She also blessed my mother, who underwent surgery recently, my brother Sri Ramesh and his wife Smt. Chitra. Maaji showered Her special blessings on Smt Chitra, since she was going to complete her 60th birthday.

On Wednesday 15th, since Maaji’s return flight was around 4:30 pm in the evening, I had valuable time with Maaji in the morning. We discussed about Carnatic Trinity Saint, Sree Muthuswamy Dikshitar’s composition “Bhajare re Chitta Balambikam” in raag Kalyani on Devi Balambika at Sree Vaitheeswaran temple, near Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu.

When the thoughts are pure, all Devis and Devtas, lovingly bless us with every thing that we require. That happened when Maaji was here. All the things that Maaji wanted to bless all Her devotees out of Her divine compassion was fulfilled.

Chaithanya and myself were lucky and blessed to serve Maaji during this long waited visit. Truly it was a “Booster dose of blessings” for everyone. I once again thank Maaji and Manish ji for giving us this beautiful opportunity.

Pranaam,

Hari Aum!
