IMBIBING NATURE TO ‘NURTURE THE NATURE’

There is generally a lot of confusion about the word “Nature” for a common man. As per Google, Nature means - The phenomena of the physical world collectively, including plants, animals, the landscape, and other features and products of the earth, as opposed to humans or human creations.
So, as a common man I always thought that the Nature is around me, but when I started reading and understanding Scriptures under the guidance of
HH Maa Purnananda Ji, my perspective about the nature changed completely.
“Nature is not around me, It’s within me”.
My understanding about the session was, Microcosm the Individual and the Macrocosm the Totality, they both arise from Trigunatmika Maya, Which consists of 3 Gunas.
- Sattva - Purity the Knowledge Principle
- Rajas – Passion the Action Principle
- Tamas - Inertia
These 3 factors belong to the matter principle. They do not belong to the Consciousness. It’s in the Light of Consciousness they are illumined.
Creation unfolds in the presence of Spirit in union with the matter principle which is Sattva, Rajas and Tamas. Therefore, having understood this, Individual ego “I” will have to nurture my own nature because to nurture the external nature I have no capacity but to nurture my own nature I can put in efforts. Though I am under the sway of my own nature, but with the help and guidance of Spiritual Knowledge, I can work on my weakness and nurture my own nature not only for my own good but also for the nature around me.
The creation what we perceive around is created from Tamasic Guna in Totality. If Rajas and Tamas enter my Mind Intellect equipment which is essentially Sattvik aspect of creation, it becomes harmful and the contamination happens. Therefore, our focus should be more on the Mind Intellect Equipment and try to enhance our virtues in such a manner, so the Mind Intellect equipment remain as pure as possible, SATTVA predominant.
To come to this level of understanding our Rishis and Sadgurus have put in whole lot of efforts and have compiled the whole play of Maya in the form of Devi Durga Saptashloki. They have also guided us on how we are supposed to worship Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu and Lord Maheshwara along with their consorts Devi Saraswati , Devi Lakshmi & Devi Durga , so that not only our inner tendencies in our individual nature will change for better but also the expression will change for better.
Maaji took us through the 3 Mantras which were dedicated to Sarawati Mata, Lakshmi Mata & Durga Mata.
या देवी सर्वभुतेषु विद्यारूपेण संस्थिता । नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमो नमः !!
Vidya Represents Saraswati Mata - We must worship Mother Goddess who represents the Vidya to turn our knowledge into action to become Vidya. So, it’s important for us to practice what we have learned to transform for better. If we don’t practice what we are learning, then our Mind Intellect Equipment will not become pure.
या देवी सर्वभुतेषु शक्तिरूपेण संस्थिता । नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमो नमः !!
Shakti represents Maha Lakshmi Mata. We need to have inner strength, shakti of Faith, Devotion, Righteousness, Honesty etc, are some of the virtues we need to develop our Mind Intellect Equipment, so we can express ourselves in the world by way of virtuous and not vicious.
या देवी सर्वभुतेषु मातृरूपेण संस्थिता । नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमो नमः !!
Mother represents Maa Durga. We bow down to Maa Durga who is the Mother who nurtures the child in the best possible way. It represents that, Mother Durga not only shows the right path & direction to a child, but also annihilates the wrong in him to divert the child’s mind in the right direction. It is only the Mother who can do it!
For me HH Maa Purnananda Ji, is enliven Goddess Durga Mata, I bow down at your Lotus Feet Maaji. The 3 mantras and the representation of those mantras which you mentioned in the discourse, I really think I need to work so hard on my Mind, Intellect equipment and drive myself so much towards the Sattvik aspect of my Mind with the attitude of Surrender at the Lotus Feet of our Revered Guru Parampara where the Real Nature rests. This will help me to nurture my nature to achieve the true purpose of Life.
I seek your blessings Maaji to be on the righteous Path always and bless me with Vidya, Shakti, to work on my inner nature which I have acquired, so I can improve and progress towards this divine journey.
