Sree Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations in Divine Presence!

Sree Ganesh Chaturthi, the vibrant festival celebrating the birth of Lord Ganesh, is a time of great joy and devotion for Hindus worldwide. While traditionally observed with grand processions and elaborate ceremonies, many individuals and families choose to celebrate this auspicious occasion in the intimacy of their homes.
This was the 13th year, of our annual tradition, but this year was different as our Study Circle embarked on a unique journey to celebrate Sree Ganesh Chaturthi by understanding its significance as per Vedaant philosophy, explained by our revered Guru Maa.
For our puja, we acquired a beautiful clay idol of Lord Ganesh (made of pure river sand). This traditional practice of using an eco-friendly idol made from natural material reminds us of the originality and purity that we must maintain while in our embodiment.
On the auspicious day of Sree Ganesh Chaturthi, our study circle members gathered at the appointed time with an air of excitement and devotion. Our Guru Maa, a Spiritual guide and mentor to us, led the puja in a Vedic way. The proceedings were meticulously conducted with adherence to the sacred rituals and mantras. Anant and I were chosen by Maa to offer the puja and we feel so privileged and blessed by Maa and Lord equally.
The idol of Lord Ganesh was consecrated, invoking the Divine presence into it. This process, involved the chanting of sacred mantras by Guru Maa and the members, creating an atmosphere of spiritual vibrancy.
As per the Vedic tradition, we welcomed Lord Ganesh to our humble abode for 10 days, and offered a variety of fruits, flowers & sweets to HIM. Each offering was accompanied by heartfelt prayers and hymns.
We sang devotional bhajans and performed aarti, swaying to the melodious tunes that resonated with our spirits. The joyous atmosphere was palpable as we immersed ourselves in the Divine presence of Lord Ganesh.
We are grateful for the presence of Guru Maa through our Ganesh Chaturthi celebration, which was the main highlight for us. Her wisdom and guidance have been a source of inspiration to us, and having Her grace, our puja was truly a blessing. She shared Spiritual insights and anecdotes, emphasizing the significance of Devotion and Faith in our lives.
In celebrating Sree Ganesh Chaturthi at home with Guru Maa and the Study Circle members, we experienced a deep sense of fulfilment and spiritual nourishment. The eco-friendly approach, adherence to rituals, and the presence of a revered Spiritual guide, all combined to create a memorable and blessed gathering.
We carry with us the wisdom and devotion nurtured during this sacred celebration, knowing that it will continue to guide us on our Spiritual journey.
I hope and pray to Lord Ganesh that may we always be blessed by Him and Maa to be on the Spiritual path.
