Hari Aum!

Our Humble prostrations at the Lotus feet of Sree Guru Parampara and HH Maa Purnanandaji

Every time Maaji visits Dubai we feel that Mother Ganga is flowing from India to Dubai bringing with her the Vidya Sagar to uplift us and we feel like taking as many dips as possible in this Maha Gyaan Sagar. Maaji has taken us through the morning sessions on Amrit Bindu Upanishad and Evenings on Sree Ramcharit Manas - Aranya Kaand.

In Sree Ram Charit Manas the discourse started with the thought provoking question raised by Laxman ji (the Mind) to Sree Ram (Pure Intellect) “Oh Lord, how may I be able to adore the dust of Your feet?” Laxman ji also wanted to understand what is Spiritual Wisdom, Dispassion, Maya, Bhakti, and the difference between jeeva and Ishwara.

Maaji explained so beautifully that if you don’t have faith in Scriptures then whatever you read is not sufficient. Our mind, intellect and Mindstuff has to be dedicated at the feet of God. The feeling of I and mine, you and yours is Maya which holds sway over all created beings. Whatever is perceived by the senses and that which lies within the reach of the mind, is Maya.

Maaji also explained the difference between Vidya Maya and Avidya Maya. What is jeev Bhava, what is Ishwaratva ?

Bhakti is incomparable and the very root of Bliss which can be acquired only by the Grace of the Guru. Bhakti can be attained by cultivating excessive devotion at the feet of the Brahmanas / Gurus and remaining engaged in ones duty as per the Scriptural ordinance. To have true Bhakti we need to practice Dispassion! Dispassion leads to Yog with the Divine. To have dispassion we need to practice Dharma.

So the process is -
Dharma - Dispassion -Yog - Gyaan.

That’s true Bhakti. We need to develop single pointed devotion then only we can reach Brahman. Maaji explained to us the meaning and aspects of Navadha Bhakti; The 9 forms of Devotion.

Then Maaji has took us through the episode of Sree Ram Leela, where in Sree Ram asks Seeta Mata to abide in fire and leave her reflection behind till the time Sree Ram destroyed all demons and would enact like a human being. This episode clarified a lot of questions in our minds about Sree Ram being sorrowful and in pain even though he is Lord, Why did Seeta Mata have to give Agni Pariksha and so on....

Then the episode of Jatayu and his importance was explained by Maaji, Jatayu represents true devotion which inspires one to work for Divine selflessly and then the Divine will reveal Itself and the devotee gets liberated.

The essence of the complete discourse:- Shradhavaan Labhate Gnyaanam.

It is only when we hear Sree Ram Charit Manas from a Sadguru does it dawn in our hearts that it is not a devotional Scripture alone but a wholesome nourishment of Gyaan and Bhakti

We are ever indebted to Maa for nourishing us with the quintessence of Bhakti and Gyaan from Sree Ram Charit Manas.

Warm Regards
