Hari Aum!

When a Guru imparts Spiritual Knowledge, each seeker understands it according to their intellectual level. Likewise, the little things that I could understand and assimilate are very few which I have compiled below.

When we are under the Sadguru's shelter, the cleansing process happens naturally, which is exactly what happened during the retreat. Darshan of the Guru is like looking at our own Self from the eyes of the Guru.

Seeking forgiveness does not stop with just a "sorry" and get away. We understood that it is so intense and should come from the bottom of our heart. To forgive someone, we need certain level of understanding which alone can bring kindness. Maa's explanation of the Trident, and the snakes and skins adorned by Lord Shiva cleared our long standing doubts. The Holy aspect of ash signifying oneness in the world of plurality was so beautifully explained by Maa.

Likewise, I understood that the mind and intellect should get tuned by doing Japa. The explanation of Shraavan maas puja was so nourishing for the soul. I understood that along with religious practices, we need to read scriptures regularly and improvise ourselves.

Maa's explanation of Lord Shiva's third eye and the Ganga (representing constant flow of Supreme Knowledge) was beautiful.

Our Sadguru takes continuous effort in guiding us to see our True Self. Every darshan of Maa is a Ganga snaan which removes layers of dust accumulated over the years. This retreat gave us just that experience.
