Hari Aum!

My humble prostrations at the Holy Feet of Guru Maa!

On Thursday 4th May, 2023, I was excited as we reached SISS. We offered arati at the Holy Altar and received blessings from Maa to start on our Holy pilgrimage to Varanasi. I felt very blessed as it was my second Teerth with Maa and Manish uncle.

It was a 12-hour journey as in between we stopped at intervals. A beautiful and scenic stretch of grassy fields on both the sides was very fascinating to see. After reaching Varanasi we got freshened up, ate dinner and preferred to sleep early at night as the journey was a bit tiring.

The next day we visited Sree Kashi Vishwanath temple and I had a short glimpse of the lord.

As we moved around the temple it gave me immense joy. Then we had breakfast in the temple compound which was very satisfying and delicious.

In the evening we did boat ride on the banks of the river Ganga. I enjoyed the boat ride the most because instead of chairs, there was a huge cushioned mattress spread across, with bolsters placed along the railings which gave a traditional feeling. Each ghat had a story behind it, which was narrated by the Nishad Raj of our boat. The beautiful moon rise was a rare sight to see.

The next day we went to Sree Kashi Vishwanath temple and were blessed to have darshan of the Lord in the early morning hours. It was a peaceful experience while visiting the Holy abode of Lord Shiva.

Then on 7th May we headed towards Ayodhya which was a 4-hour journey from Varanasi. In the evening we went to attend arati on the banks of river Sarayu. There were many animals like monkeys and cows besides the Ghat. The environment was very serene and pure there.

On 8th May we visited Sree Hanuman temple and Sree Ram Lala Temple in Ayodhya. As I had attended the discourses on Ayodhya Kand taken by Maa, I could relate my visit to Ayodhya in a better way.

After a significant and a mesmerising Teerth we headed back towards SISS. I bowed down at the Holy Altar, seeking for forgiveness for my mistakes committed knowingly or unknowingly. I am very thankful to Manish Uncle for his guidance and support throughout the Teerth.

I had a wonderful time spent with everyone and I also enjoyed tasting the special delicacies of Varanasi, which were extremely delicious. It was a very memorable Teerth and the most enjoyable one with Maa and Manish uncle.

I cherish my wonderful memories
