Sree Maha Shivraatri 2019 at SISS

Hari Aum!

This Maha Shivraatri had a special significance. We were blessed with two consecutive Shivamaya Sadhana camps on weekends at SISS in the Divine company of Maa ji.

Sree Shiv Panchaakshar Stotram (नागेन्द्रहाराय त्रिलोचनाय भस्माङ्गरागाय महेश्वराय I नित्याय शुद्धाय दिगंबराय तस्मै नाकराय नमःशिवाय II ) on 17th Feb’19.

Minds were not only engaged with the glories of the Lord of lords (Maheshwara) but we were also lead to understand as to what makes You the Lord of lords.

(When one burns off the desires into ashes and smear it…then one develops the eye of wisdom…He then sees the creation of Supreme in its true perspective. Auspiciousness sees auspiciousness Itself)
Sree Kashi Vishwanath stotram (गंगातरंगरमणीयजटाकलापम गौरीनिरन्त्तरविभूषितवामभागम I नारायणप्रियमनंगमदापहारम वाराणसीपुरपतिम भज़ विश्वनाथाम II) on 3rd/4th March’19

What a wonderful imagination!
Lord Shiva (the Pure Consciousness), Gouri (the Pure intellect) ever adorned on left side, the beautiful Ganga wisdom flowing from His locks, whom Narayana (the sustaining power) loves, the crusher of the ego of Kamadeva, the lord of Varanasi (the merger of the mind and intellect), That Vishwanath (The Divine Cessationator) I invoke…sing glory…constantly remember and meditate on that Shivatattva in me (in the lotus heart) …

Discourses in English on both the above stotras were beautifully recorded in MP3 audio and MP4 Video. The first one got released on Maha Shivraatri on 4th March’19 for the benefit of all the seekers.

This time we were also blessed with Gurudev Aarti ( संकटमोचन भवभयभंजन सद्गुरू चिन्मय जय जय हे....) composed by Maa ji glorifying the entire Guru parampara.

In just 3 simple looking verses the whole Vedanta saar has been beautifully captured…the knowledge which belongs to Chidswarupa.
