Hari Aum!

Humble Prostration at the holy feet of Maa Ji.

The “Vasantha Kalam"

"Spring" in English came in August in my life.

During Maaji's South India visit in Aug 2019, I had the golden opportunity of being the Sarathy to our Guru Maa Saraswathi.

Maa Ji arrived on 5th Morning to Trichy – I took charge as the official sarathy as well as the camera man for her visit. Because my natural eyes were not sufficient to catch the glimpse of Maa Ji, had the wonderful opportunity to see Maa Ji through the lenses. Weather across our journey was complementing to our divine mind set.

Maa Ji was accompanied by a few satyavratis, across the fully packed one week schedule. The experience was so intense that my mind refuse to forget, every instance I had encountered. It was a unique experience. Of which, one experience I wish to share with you all, as others are quite elaborate.

On enroute, in Thiruvayyaru we visited, Saint Sri Thiyagaraja Swamigal’s jeeva Samadhi. Maa Ji and Mythili Ji rendered divine songs in front of Swamigal’s murthi. Temple was closed as it was mid day. Temple priest who was residing near by was on a phone call and he entered the main temple, when got to hear Maa Ji and Mythiili ji Singing. He introduced himself as the serving priest at the Samadhi, for 19 generations his family was doing this sewa, he started explaining about Thiyagaraja Swamigal’s charitham with few keerthans.

I did not understand the meaning, as it was in Telegu however he was explaining biography in Tamil. The divinity & the essence was so soothing and revelation of the past were spellbound. He revealed so many important informations about Saint Thiyagaraja which added value to our Dharma. Sri Thiyagaraja Swamigal, throughout his life followed the righteous path, had to wait, till he turned 80 years to have Darshan of Lord Rama, which inspired me so much. I understood, “the individual’s initiative & practice is the essential requirement in this inward spiritual path to reach the Higher” for which we require Guru's guidance and blessings throughout the journey.

After our Trichy and Thanjavur temple visits, we reached Coimbatore by Road, Maa Ji stayed with senior devotee Mr Ramachandran ji and Usha ji’s house in Coimbatore . Maa Ji visited our home in Coimbatore and blessed us by accepting Paad Puja & Bhiksha. Next day, Maa Ji gave Spiritual discourse on “Geeta Mahatmyam", at Ramachandran ji’s place. Following day Maaji graced the auspicious occasion of Sri Varalakshmi pooja at Ramesh and Chitra ji’s residence. Soon after the puja, we had prasad, started towards Bengaluru.

Throughout the journey Maa Ji and Mythiliji were discussing about temples, Gurudev and other divine experiences. It was so nice that 8 hour travel time was not sufficient, we reached Bengaluru, Maa Ji stayed with Vijay ji and Lakshmi Ji. Next day there was Maaji’s discourse on ”Dharm in the face of Rapidly Advanced technology” at Vijay Ji’s residence and on the following day, Maa Ji gave discourse on “Why should we follow the path divine” at Mythili Ji’s place. By night all the programs came to an end, many lessons learnt, curtains rolled down for this wonderful journey.

We all took blessings from Maa ji, though not inclined to go away from Her, worldly life was so demanding, we had to take a depart from the divine connection. With the cherishing memories of Being with Maaji, I headed back to Dubai.
