Here God is denying the Asuri and Rakshasi Pravritti of worship. Worship in itself is not Sattvik/ Rajasik/Tamasik its worshipper who makes it sattvik/ Rajasik/Tamasik. So I must rise up and above myself and come to the level of my Divine Prakratti. I must come to the level of my Sattvik tendency predominantly in me then only my worship will be pure.

It is not only important to be intelligent, but our Vritis also have to be in the right direction. Raavan was very intelligent but had Aasuri Vriti, when he felt he was the doer, he had only faith in himself. When Vritis will change, surroundings will also change. The desires in the intellect, order the types of thoughts in the mind, and they in turn, form our actions. Right attitude and correct perspective of things are the most important constituents of forming a desire. Those who worship the Lord with a single – pointed devotion, knowing Him as the imperishable source of all beings and imbibing some virtues of the Lord, are stated as the Mahatma’s / great Soul’s by the Lord. Eg. Bhakt Pralhad, and Dhruv. In today’s world we largely see examples of Aasuri Vriti prevalent in actions of most – due to greed of earning fast wealth / fame, we see companies over-leveraging themselves, later finding themselves either in liquidation or courts or heavily debt laden. Similar is case with individuals. But what is not correct, I feel, is that the people connected with them (who may not be of Aasuri Vriti) are also badly affected – people who have given loans do not get the monies back, people who have worked for them do not get paid, the vendors are left at large.
