Among thousands of men, one per chance strives for perfection, even among those successful strivers, only one per chance knows Me in essence.
Bhakti Yog portion of Holy Geeta suggests the possibility of the merger of the mind in the nature of the Pure Consciousness, through the path of single pointed meditation. How can it be done is the theme of section containing Ch 7 to Ch 12.
In this verse Lord Krishna hints towards a tough possibility but a rare opportunity. Very few individuals keep themselves engaged in this world while keeping their attention divine.
We can clearly see this that how almost everyone in this world is running towards material happiness and no one is devoting a little time for divine orientation

In the above verse, taken from Jnana vijnanayog (Yoga of knowledge and wisdom) section of Bhakti Yog, Bhagwan explains that each one of us is living at the very base level. And only a rare Bhakt strives & essentially knows ‘ME’. With complete divine union, we need to strive hard for perfection, so as to become that rare bhakt. Living through this false hood, by understanding the fundamentals of bhakti & the implications of being in the creation, I the seeker, have to carve out my own path with my own hard work, to reach HIM!
