Invest the intellect in God; it is the most profitable
मय्येव मन आधत्स्व मयि बुद्धिं निवेशय |
निवसिष्यसि मय्येव अत ऊर्ध्वं न संशयः ||12.8||

Bhagwaan, in this verse, asks us to bring the intellect to contemplate on Him, who is represented by the idol which our mind holds close. When the mind’s emotional and rational thoughts have quietened at His altar and rendered thoughtless, then it is, that you merge into the great state of Consciousness.
