हतो वा प्राप्स्यसि स्वर्गं जित्वा वा भोक्ष्यसे महीम् |

In this sloka Bhagawan says (to Arjuna), you must perform your duty. Being a Kshatriya your duty is to fight. If you die in the war you will get heaven, if you win you will get this earth to rule, which is a win-win situation.
