दोषैरेतै: कुलघ्नानां वर्णसङ्करकारकै: |
उत्साद्यन्ते जातिधर्मा: कुलधर्माश्च शाश्वता: ||1.43||
उत्सन्नकुलधर्माणां मनुष्याणां जनार्दन |
नरकेऽनियतं वासो भवतीत्यनुशुश्रुम ||1.44||
अहो बत महत्पापं कर्तुं व्यवसिता वयम् |
यद्राज्यसुखलोभेन हन्तुं स्वजनमुद्यता: ||1.45||

In these verses Arjun’s arguments stand invalid.
1)Bhagwan further explains the importance of Dharma in these shlokas.
2)Moral and ethics of the Kul when destroyed kills the family or the clan. Physical death does not kill the person, but moral death surely finishes a clan. So what Arjun was trying to argue stands invalid.
3)Righteous act can be at times misunderstood by others but surely not by ourselves. When we are connected with our inner selves, our essence, we can surely stand erect and follow Dharma.
4)Under the garb of ‘we heard’ – I hear what I want to hear and interpret accordingly. Though that may not be exactly what the scriptures are saying. Hence, to understand the true meaning we have to spend time with ourselves.
