These two verses depict the – ‘Significance of the sacred single syllable Aum’
1)That Thou Art comes from Aum Tat Sat connecting me to Oneness that is beyond any conditioning.
2)The importance of chanting the sacred syllable ‘Aum Tat Sat’ is to remind us the 3 supreme attributes that must be kept in mind to live a life of Spiritual pursuit.
a)Brahmanas – which indicates the satwik quality as the dominant guna to be inculcated.
b)Vedas – Signifies the knowledge that inspires to never let any act anytime be without awareness towards the Higher.
c)Sacrifice – to make a conscious choice to sacrifice all that hinders my pursuit on the Spiritual path ultimately leading me to sacrifice the most difficult – the Ego. All these ultimately lead to Realisation by breaking all conditionings.
