All the confusion and weakness are internal. Thus, correcting yourself from within with sincerity and surrendering to the supreme without letting the mind wander is the key.

In this verse, Arjuna has realised his helpless, impotency in himself to come to a decision. Hence, he totally surrenders to Krishna. He has diagnosed the cause being pity and compassion due to mental stress, lot of confusion and can’t differentiate Dharma from Adharma. He is seeking appropriate help and a good teacher who could enlighten him. “I have accepted you as my Guru with all faith and will follow your teaching.  I am surrendering completely to the Guru”.
