All manifested comes from the unmanifested at the beginning of the “Day”, and dissolve into the unmanifested again at “Night”.

We can directly correlate this to how our world comes to exist (becomes manifest) when we wake up and dissolves when we sleep. The same principle when applied to totality helps us contemplate on the world created of manifested Maya and differentiate between the Changing and the Changeless.

This verse speaks about the cycle of creation and dissolution. From the Unmanifest, comes the manifest with the day-break while the manifest dissolves into the Unmanifest at night. This Unmanifest represents the Trigunatmika Maya, not Brahman. The realised soul has to transcend the Trigunatmika Maya to transcend the concept of time.
