अशोच्यानन्वशोचस्त्वं प्रज्ञावादांश्च भाषसे |
गतासूनगतासूंश्च नानुशोचन्ति पण्डिताः||2.11||

In this verse, Lord Krishna says the wise should not grieve for the dead or the ones who are going to die. It speaks about the eternal nature of the Self. We have to differentiate between the ‘I’ as the holder/the witness of the body and the ‘I’ with the constant change in body, mind and intellect. Journey of soul continues even after death. We have to hold on to the Changeless while living in the changing world.
