तत्रापश्यत्स्थितान् पार्थ: पितृ नथ पितामहान् |
आचार्यान्मातुलान्भ्रातृ न्पुत्रान्पौत्रान्सखींस्तथा |
श्वशुरान्सुहृदश्चैव सेनयोरुभयोरपि ||1.26||
तान्समीक्ष्य स कौन्तेय: सर्वान्बन्धूनवस्थितान् |
कृपया परयाविष्टो विषीदन्निदमब्रवीत् ||1.27||

The above verses convey the Dilemma of confrontation.
1)This is the door to Bhagawad Geeta.
2)Our Association with The Higher gives us active resistance to the evil. Otherwise, in the name of goodness we want to hide our weakness. If the good people withdraw and keep quiet then they are not doing their Dharma. As Dharma for a man is Righteousness and Discipline as opposed to egocentric calls which cannot be Dharma. During crisis we all fall prey to our egocentric thoughts and justify ourselves, though the divine in us is always these to inspire us and guide us.
3)That is why a continuous association with the higher is a must to safeguard ourselves. This will help to make an Integrated Nation.
