Maa Purnanandaji conducts Gyana Yagnas, a session of inspired discourses on Vedantic texts delivered daily at a fixed time in a given city or town, wherein all listeners have their textbook in hand, and take down their own notes. The knowledge gained through listening or ‘Shravanam' during the Gyana Yagnas has to be assimilated by the listeners to help them transform themselves. This is achieved in the Study Circle, by intensive and regular studies of the scriptures and reflecting upon the thought-provoking words of this “Subjective Science” under the able guidance of Maa Purnanandaji, followed by group discussions. By now, 16 deserving householder seekers have been initiated into Vanaprastha (the much forgotten 3 rd ashram of life!) by Maa and of them; she later gave Sannyasa Deeksha to one.
It is a special privilege for devotees to go for pilgrimages with Maa.7-day Sadhana Shivirs (camps) are held by Maa in different spiritual centers and she guides devotees in performing pujas and homas. Being conversant in English, Hindi, Bengali and Gujarati, Maa gives discourses in all these languages. Maa conducts Workshops, Orientation programmes, Seminars, Talks in corporate houses, senior citizen homes, hospitals, industries, factories and other institutions where staff members are addressed. Maa takes Teachers' Orientation Camps & Workshops, Workshops & Talks in schools and colleges as also Study Groups and Yuva Satya classes for the youth. Bal Satya camps are held during the summer months for the younger children. Maa's Audio/Video CD's on Vedic Chants, Bhajans & discourses on different Vedantic Texts are very popular amongst the regular seekers.
In 2002 Maa set up “Sree Guru Swami Chinmayananda Sewa Nidhi”, a charitable and non-profit Trust. Observing the need of the constantly increasing numbers of the seekers, in 2005 the foundation was laid for setting up “Satyavrat Institute of Subjective Sciences” at B-17 Sector 62, Institutional Area, Noida; for which, the construction work has been commenced.. The Institute will teach the sciences of transforming the human resources through inculcating values and the methods to implement them for achieving a higher standard of life. The Vedantic philosophy of realizing the total Creation as a single omnipresent and omnipotent Macrocosmic Self or Atman, is a solution to all the problems of today's world. This spiritual philosophy brings harmony and peace; and makes one the best of any kind – a doctor the best doctor, an engineer the best engineer, and so on. This ‘Subjective Science' (the Adhyatma Vidya or the Knowledge of the Self) shall be available for comprehensive learning in a systematic way under the guidance of trained faculty at the Institute. Maa visits different parts of India and abroad for the benefit of the devotees living away from her. The devotees in USA, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Tanzania, etc. feel particularly spiritually uplifted after Maa's visits to their country. Maa's vision of taking forward the teachings of Swami Chinmayanandaji will benefit the coming generation and the Institute will make a mark in introducing Vedic culture worldwide.
